I didn't expect to even start this project. Yet here we are, on page 9 already.
It's quite a road ahead, I know. I don't make any big plans yet; I want to keep it simple. I approach it one step at a time. You need more story to get to know my characters. I need to keep this consistency so you know them and, hopefully, love them. Not to mention that I need to finally get to some consistency in my style. I keep experimenting and finding more options that work for me.
For now, a chaotic approach works the best. The less I plan the page with thumbnails and extra compositioning, the better. I trust the process and let it lead me. As one of my mentors once said: any finished comic is much better than the one you have in your head.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who reads and believes in me. I don't (and will not) have a lot of feedback, of course. It's too early for that with just nine pages and characters you know little to nothing about. But slow and steady wins the race, eh? The sole fact that I finally draw a comic is a huge achievement for me. Be it as imperfect and boring as it is, I started drawing it because I had a drive to draw it. Because I wanted it.
And one more place to share my work wouldn't hurt!
